Professional Roofline Services
Roofline plays a major part to a property’s roof in both how it looks and how it protects. It’s there to give the roof a nice finish and look pretty but more importantly is does the essential job of keeping the roof timber and roof space securely sealed.
There are four key parts to roofline which are the fascia, soffit, bargeboards and guttering. The roofline will protect the roof space, internal timbers and interior from water damage and it will prevent dry rot and wet rot from happening.
We will remove your old roofline and install brand new fascia, soffit, bargeboards and guttering as part of our service. This can be done as a standalone job or alongside the installation of a new roof.
What is Fascia Boards?
Fascia boards are found where the roof meets the walls of the house and comes under the phrase Roofline along with soffits gutters and bargeboards these normally come in timber or uPVC also known as plastic.
Fascia is best described as the long one that runs along the bottom of the roof and is fixed onto the ends of the roof trusses and gives a clean finishing touch but the fascia also supports the bottom course of tiles and allows a fixing point for the gutters.
Fascia also protects the interior of the roof by offering protection from moisture wind and rain.
What is Soffit?
The soffit is found directly under the fascia and most noticeable from the ground. Soffits can come ventilated to help give good airflow into the roof space which is a very important factor in giving your roof a longer life span without proper ventilation condensation can build up causing risk of decay to timbers.
Another good way of good ventilation is to vent the roof through inline roof tile vents this is the most common way to provide proper airflow into the roof space.
What are Bargeboards?
Bargeboards run up the gable ends of the building these act in the same way as fascia boards and give a nice finishing touch to your new roof or can be used to freshen up an existing roof also gives a sharp clean finish.

In a street behind my house I witnessed over 5 days, what appeared to be a very efficient team (Tradetech) … More completely removing old tiles etc, and replacing sarking boards, tiles etc. I was very impressed by the way the work was carried out and therefore I obtained a quote from Tradetech. The work to replace my roof was carried out in 5 days from start to finish all as per quote. Again, very quiet and efficient, tidying up as they went. Nothing was too much trouble for Paul's team who were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the Tradetech team who are all polite and very pleasant. We had trade tech replace our roof and gutters/downpipes and they have been excellent. Very good value … More and very hard working. We had some unforseen issues along the way. We discovered some of the joists were rotten. These sections were cut out and replaced without any issue and the roof was finished on time.
After the roof had been finished we experienced issues with the gutters leaking, they were round the next day and found it was actually a blockage within our drains. They tried to unblock it themselves at no extra cost but the problem needed specialist equipment. Excellent customer service and an excellent job. -

We chose Paul on the basis of reviews on Google with some trepidation I might add. I needn't have … More worried. From the moment of the estimate through to completion the service was first class. The quote was very competitive. We had 4-5 guys there more or less full time who were polite and respectful. They worked hard and were meticulous in their preparation work. The roughcaster and his team were also very hard working. The management of the job was excellent as far as schedules, deliveries and cleaning were concerned. Even on the last day the team was making adjustments to various bits and pieces that looked fine but they said needed slight adjusting.
Highly recommended.
