CHIMNEY REPAIRS, REPOINTING & FLASHING
When a chimney leaks this is usually caused by bad or improperly installed flashing, a skilled lead worker would be required at this stage. A roofing lead worker will be able to remove the roofing material around the chimney, install new flashings and counter-flashing and replace the roofing to seal up the tie in between the roof and chimney.
Chimney Flashing
Chimney flashing is a sheet of metal installed around the area where the chimney meets the roof. Flashing ensures that the connection between the chimney and roof is watertight. Though these metals last for some time, they do have an expiration date that varies by wear.
Chimney Roughcasting
Chimney roughcasting can be done when the brickwork on the chimney breast starts to crumble. This is common due to adverse weather. We will remove the debris and loose brickwork and attend to apply the new modern roughcast.
Chimney Repointing
Chimney repointing is a process whereby the original failed mortar is raked out and replaced with new mortar.

In a street behind my house I witnessed over 5 days, what appeared to be a very efficient team (Tradetech) … More completely removing old tiles etc, and replacing sarking boards, tiles etc. I was very impressed by the way the work was carried out and therefore I obtained a quote from Tradetech. The work to replace my roof was carried out in 5 days from start to finish all as per quote. Again, very quiet and efficient, tidying up as they went. Nothing was too much trouble for Paul's team who were a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend the Tradetech team who are all polite and very pleasant. I am sure if you engage with Tradetech for your roofing work whatever is required you will be very impressed. (Even the cat!)

We had trade tech replace our roof and gutters/downpipes and they have been excellent. Very good value … More and very hard working. We had some unforseen issues along the way. We discovered some of the joists were rotten. These sections were cut out and replaced without any issue and the roof was finished on time.
After the roof had been finished we experienced issues with the gutters leaking, they were round the next day and found it was actually a blockage within our drains. They tried to unblock it themselves at no extra cost but the problem needed specialist equipment. Excellent customer service and an excellent job. -

We chose Paul on the basis of reviews on Google with some trepidation I might add. I needn't have … More worried. From the moment of the estimate through to completion the service was first class. The quote was very competitive. We had 4-5 guys there more or less full time who were polite and respectful. They worked hard and were meticulous in their preparation work. The roughcaster and his team were also very hard working. The management of the job was excellent as far as schedules, deliveries and cleaning were concerned. Even on the last day the team was making adjustments to various bits and pieces that looked fine but they said needed slight adjusting.
Highly recommended.
